This book has everything to help you design your own homeschool curriculum But it also has many goals to strive for so that as you go through the year you can check on the subject and grade level for your child and see how they are measuring up and if you need to review or add to the curriculum you have already been using This is especially useful for home schoolers that use an eclectic approach and not a pre packaged curriculum My only wish is that she would publish a newer version

I have to admit I was stressed out originally when I read this book It has SO MUCH information that you can very easily put pressure on yourself as a homeschooler I homeschool both my children 7 6 and I want to be certain that I m not leaving any holes in their education The first year I literally tried to do EVERYTHING I know lame right My kids and I were pulling our hair out This year I wised up and realized that this book is a GUIDE it gives suggestions
I recommend this book wholeheartedly just remember that you cannot do everything
