I already took the test 0041 and failed by 8 points I discovered that it wasn t necesarily the content of the english content knowledge praxis 2 It was that fact that I ran out of time before I finished so I basically guessed for the next 15 questions My advice is work fast Praxis study guides are scams however the tests are good so you can get a feel for the speed 120 mins flys when you re having fun panicking to get it done Good luck

Previously I only used the ETS study guide and failed my Praxis II test The Cliffs Test Prep gave a wider overview of what is really on the test The vocabulary and topics to study were explained in detail and easy to understand I would say that this book is a must have for test takers

I just received my copy of this book I ordered it to prepare for the Praxis II 0041 and 0042 Think of this as a treatise on test taking rather than a source of information specific to any of the tests Rather than a book containing sections dedicated to each test this is a collection of bits of advice on test taking with lists of on which test the form can be found The tone and majority of the content should come across as condescending to anyone of normal intelligence who has successfully finished college If you need help constructing a coherent essay in response to a prompt you ll need more than a book to help you prepare for this test Inside you ll find such advice as Read all the answer choices and Use the process of elimination
Unfortunately I didn t need to spend any money for such information In an attempt to give an overview of each of the Language Arts tests the content for any one of them has been stripped down to the barest level of helpfulness Raid your library for an overview of grammar and literary vocabulary and use the Sparknotes to review the content of the literature suggested on the ETS website
