This is a fantastic book for both beginners and recent graduates like myself I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and like all of my peers I m nervous about taking the CPA exam For me this book was a great way to pass a month scraping the surface of material I learned in the first two or three courses I took in college Use this book to set a foundation for your Accounting education and then seek college course work for the Intermediate topics If you have even the smallest interest in accounting begin your education by purchasing or borrowing workbooks like this For us grads it s nothing we haven t seen before but it is still a very helpful review of everything Financial and Managerial in accounting So grab your pencil and your calculator It s going to be a fun ride

From the point of view of practice work it s a great resource I like the exercises and find it reinforces my understanding After all theory is one thing but being able to practice and confirm the math matches the theory that s what I really needed
