I first checked this out of my local library 1st edition and read it You can t miss with this book It will give you incredible insight and perhaps balance anxieties you have if you are in the midst of preparing for college It will give you confidence that you know all about the college selection process If you ve missed something you will at least know what it is and hopefully have time to address it
Read it early Refer to it often which is why I bought it used If you have family or friends with kids in 8th 10th grades tell them this book is out there
I haven t seen the 2nd edition and couldn t tell what it adds from the inside cover etc that you can view online they really should stress what s new in the 2nd edition My kids are still years from college so by the time there are I will buy the current version then
