I think we all know you must study for the GRE and if this is the only book available to you go for it but if you have other options consider those first I am by no means a genius and I am hesitant to say the book is wrong but I currently have the book open to page 407 and there is an error on question 1 math examples 10 and 11 are identical on page 404 and the verbal section misquoted passages once or twice I am pretty much certain the editors were so bored of this book they occasionally feel asleep and missed the errors I just ordered the Princeton book my friends say it is pretty great Hopefully they are right

I used it for 2 months to re take the computer based GRE It definitively increase my performance on the test although it has a weakness in the prep tools for the analytical writing section of the test Nonetheless it has hundreds of good practice exercises for all question types on the GRE But remember this is not a book to review on one week it won t work You need at least 2 months to prepare for the CBT GRE
