I ve only read the first few chapters because they re the only ones that apply to me so far So far the advice is sound there seems to be a lot of input from various people who have graduated from some of the top schools in the country The writing is compelling and speaks directly to the reader in an informal manner Probably a good guide to help someone wrap their head around the entire experience

I am a 1L now I m glad I read this book because it helped me to form realistic expectations of what law school will be like Two notes
1 Brief cases the traditional way your first month maybe first semester before you try the technicolor approach It takes at least a month to learn how to breif and if you start with technicolor you will probabaly just highlight everything the first month
2 Wait until two weeks in to buy commercial outlines to get a feel for the course Look closely at the outlines before purchasing to make sure they will be helpful Some outline go better with some casebooks
